We would like to say to David and the gang, “Thank you so very much” for making our wedding reception a real night to remember. From their brilliant version of Wonderful Tonight, our first song, right through the entire evening they were superb and the dance floor was always packed. Their fantastic rendition of I’m On My Way, our last song, really lifted the roof and was a real hit with everyone! Our guests raved about Dakota’s vocals and music and the hotel management even commented on their courteous manner and professionalism. David did a great job compering the cutting of the cake, and we just thought the band were great musicians but also good fun. No-one wanted the night to end!

I wonder if you can pass on me and John's biggest thank you to David and the band (Dakota) for the most wonderful wedding reception. The music was fantastic! they did our first 2 songs perfectly, and we had a lovely first dance. They chatted to us at the break and played a song for John again as he had missed it the 1st time. they were very proffesional and the standard of music and playing was second to none! Thanks to Dakota for providing a memorable night when we arranged a Surprise 50th Birthday party for Liz at Musselburgh. The Band were absolutely brilliant and the music from 60s right up to now was enjoyed by everybody, as we saw on the dance floor. I cannot remember having such a good time at a do that I helped run, thanks to you and your sound, and I look forward to seeing you again….. Maybe at her 51st!!. Well done.

2009 Testimonials for Dakota

November 2009- Management Centre, Stirling University Nurses Graduation
On 28th November, Dakota performed at the Stirling Management Centre, in the grounds of Stirling University, entertaining a lively and very enthusiastic crowd of 180 at the Graduates Ball. Pictured with the band is Louise Nutini who organised the event. Dakota played 3 sets of dance friendly tunes and by the time the disco wound down at 1 a.m. it was clear that the young graduates had just as much fun as the band!
